From Millbrook: "Millbrook Vineyards & Winery was the first vineyard in the Hudson River Region of New York dedicated exclusively to the production of vinifera grapes. Millbrook Vineyards & Winery’s 30-acres of vines include plantings of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, and an Italian varietal called Tocai Friulano. Dyson began planting vines at the Millbrook site in 1983. The southwest facing slopes and the gravelly soil proved excellent for viticulture.

From MLC Farm: "MLC Farm is a private full service horse boarding, lesson and training facility located in the heart of Dutchess County horse country in Millbrook, NY. The farm offers modern facilities on 68 prime country acres and is surrounded by hundreds of Millbrook Hunt trails. Facilities include a large 35 stall barn attached to a 175×100 Indoor Arena with new footing. The barn also includes two wash stalls and four grooming stalls. A 10 stall Hunt Barn with wash stall and tack room are adjacent to the Indoor. Both barns overlook a 300 x 165 outdoor sand arena which is surrounded by a beautiful scenic view of the country. The barn was the original stable for Bennet College in the mid 1970’s and is now called By the Hounds Farm.

Our main goal for the farm is environmental stewardship, while producing organically grown herbs, Sun Powered Herbal Soaps, food and plants. We have signed the NOFANYfarmers' pledge, are a United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary Network, use sustainable practices and we are in the process of becoming organically certified. Our farm is a safe haven for wildlife. We have also rescued many domestic animals to live out their lives peacefully and safely on our farm.

From Millbrook Golf and Tennis: "The Millbrook Golf & Tennis Club was founded in 1900 by six local residents who leased 60 acres of land. Two years later, that land plus another 8.5 acres, was purchased for $20,000 and the next year the Golf Club House was erected. In 1912 the first directory was published with about 24 regular members."
