The Shawangunk Wine Trail nestled between the Shawangunk Mountains and the Hudson River in Ulster and Orange Counties, lies the eighty-mile-long Shawangunk Wine Trail, a group of fifteen diverse wineries, all striving to individually produce world class wines and collectively introduce them to locals and visitors alike in the Hudson River Region. Starting 60 miles north of New York City, the Shawangunk Wine Trail is accessible from the New York State Thruway at Exits 16, 17, and 18, and can be approached from south of I-84 at Warwick and Washingtonville and from north of I84 at Marlboro, Pine Bush, or New Paltz.
