From Free Rein Farm: "Welcome to Free Rein Farm, a small, family owned farm, nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York. Free Rein Farm was established in 1992, and built by the family, for the family. It has since grown into the small lesson and boarding facility called Free Rein Farm, to stress the importance of a natural relationship between horses and humans. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and professional environment for both children and adults to learn in. We strive to provide the highest standard of care to each animal at our farm.

"Free Rein Farm offers year-round groundwork & riding lessons, schooling packages, various camps, and customized board options.

"Although we are not an animal rescue, we have developed a reputation for taking in horses who are either unwanted or unable to be cared for. We rehabilitate them if necessary, and begin training to either integrate them into one of our programs or find them forever homes."
